Silly worry or real?

So I'm pretty sure my Mom and sister are planning a baby shower for me. They wanted to know where I'm registered for baby and I was like "Uhm the hospital?" But anyhow...I have this fear that no one will even show up and I'm going to feel pathetic and ridiculous. I'm glad they are not telling me about it because if we don't have one then I know that the people I know decided not to come. And if I don't actually know about it then it won't be as humiliating.
I think the pregnancy hormones have take over my senses. Lol

Well I would think so too but they never asked with my son when I lived in a different state. And we talk about what baby still needs all the time. Plus we live like 5 minutes from each other and they have never shopped off a registry in their life. Lol

I agree, maybe they are trying to show more interest to make up for it, I hope it goes well.

Oh they have already bought lots of stuff for this baby and they did for Tristen as well, that's why I think they have baby shower plans.

I would be the same way, so I'm no help. :)

If they have one and no one shows up I am going to be horrified! Lol not nice to do to a pregnant lady.

I know the feeling. I was told with all of my kids and that I didn't get a shower because I don't have friends. Thanks to MIL for pointing out the obvious. Most of my friends are online.

My mom is like that she points out all my flaws. Someone asked me at my baby shower if my now husband and I were going to have a "shotgun wedding" or just "live in sin and go to hell"....ruined my whole baby shower

Thankfully I think they gave up on the idea, most likely because no one would come. But I'm ok with that. It's getting so close for the time baby will be born that there kind of isn't any point now of having a baby shower.

Stay at home wife and Mom. I have an older step son that is an amazing young man. My husband and myself have a little boy and newborn girl. Balancing life isn't always easy but it's always worth it :-)
