Curious Little Minds - Where Do Babies Come From?

My best friend is a substitute teacher. Today she had a kindergartener ask her how babies get out of the mommy's tummies. She simply told him to ask his parents, which I think is probably the safest response, but it brought up some interesting thoughts. If your kindergartner asked their teacher this question, how would you want them to reply? I imagine a lot of parents would want to put the subject off for an older age, and I imagine other parents would be fine with the teacher telling the truth. How would you prefer the teacher to react? Would you prefer to be the one to answer these sort of questions?

    I would want the teacher to tell the child they needed to talk to mom or dad, then let me know they were curious
