I think this topic is really important nowadays - there are alot of unsafe info for kids online, and nobody knows what to do with this!!
Kat, how do you propose to avoide the cyber bullyng?
I have not even heard of that term))

It's hard to avoid cyber bullying completely. It will and does happen more than regular bullying because todays technology allows kids to be hide themselves online too easily. It's more about how we, as parents, educators, and a community, can get more involved in our childrens lives. How we can utilize technology as a tool rather than a babysitter. And how we can manage technology, monitor our children, and know how to be secure without being over bearing. Communication is key. I monitor everything my daughter texts and everything her friends text to her. Its not about not trusting her, its about teacher her from the start about what is wrong and what is right when using technology and how to provide exceptional "netiquette". A friend of hers is a cyber bully. I read her texts. I have confronted the mother, whom sends her 15 year old daughter to talk to me because the mother never has time. This is a representation of why her daughter is a cyber bully because the mother is never involved to begin with and the daughter does not understand communication. We need to educate the parents to keep up with the changes instead of them simply saying "well I just don't understand that stuff and I don't want to". =)
