Oops....

I was up at four am this morning coughing and sneezing, woke up my husband and the boy and the unborn, needless to say they are all mad at me. I really hope this crud I have goes away soon! Nothing seems to be helping. It isn't very fair that me and Tristen got sick at the same time and he is better and I am still miserable. Little monster! lol

They didn't give me antibiotics. Just a few meds for the symptoms. I think he may have gotten it wrong though cause I'm just not getting better.

No I do have it but they said it is viral bronchitis and not bacterial. I think there may be something else going on now though. Or I just need different meds for the symptoms. The baby has not been happy. All the coughing has been making me have contractions and throw up.

It's viral, antibiotics won't do anything. If you're interested.... warm lemon tea, peppermint tea, or boil peppermint leaves and thyme leaves on the stove to get the smell in the air. steam showers...almonds are anti viral (hm, didn't know that before). Honey.

I've done the tea and lemon and honey. It does help but I think everything has just gotten so inflamed that nothing is helping. I really just want to sleep but that is amost impossible. Everytime I lay down or lean back I start coughing. I can't wait until this nastiness has run it's course.

Ok. :( I know the peppermint relaxes the bronchial muscles... As does eucalyptus.. Wish I could help you. Hugs and prayers are all I can send.

I think I am feeling a little better today. Mornings are just bad. I'm such a baby when I'm stuffed up! Lol I'm going to try and steam the bathroom up later and see if that will clear up some of the chest congestion.

Hope it helps. Have you tried sleepin on an incline so all the crud doesn't gather in one spot at night? (If that makes sense outside of my head...)

Lol it does make sense. I have been doing that for a while because of the heartburn but it helps with the congestion too. The other night I woke up with one of my pillows missing, my husband took it, and I was not in good shape.
