Birth Control

Mothers I need some help:

I went to see my doctor today for a new patient eval., and to discuss about getting birth control. Well I have to go back in 3 weeks to get a pap smear and to get the results of the blood drawn today. What I want to know what type of birth control do you mother's use and what have you considered? I have already tried the pill, the patch, and Mirena. I don't want the pill because i'm not good about remembering to take the pill at the same time everyday, I also don't want the Mirena, because the last time I had it I bled for 3 months straight and became anemic from all the blood loss, and with the patch I have used it twice before, but this last time I got the patch I wasn't given a pregnancy test and hold not only the birth control responsible for me losing my baby but also my doctors office, so I am not considering the patch either. I am open to suggestions as to what you mothers think which birth control works the best and everything.

I don't like the pills....I had the birth control pills that I could take while I was breastfeeding my youngest daughter back in December 2012 and I was very forgetful about taking them on time everyday, so I looking for something different.

Personally I can only vouch for the Mirena but I actually had it taken out a year ago because it was causing systs and i was in a lot of pain. I am the same way with pills i would never be able to remember to take them the same time everyday. There is something I believe called a depo shot for birth control the only side effect I have heard of is weight gain but im sure that depends on the person.

right the depo shot does cause weight gain, but I also had a friend who was on it and she told me that whenever she forgot to and get her shot that her periods would come really bad, and that she would have to start the other depo shot process all over again...but it is something that I am considering

That's what my husband and I have been using since I miscarried last year so that I don't get pregnant but I need a birth control that can regulate my periods again

I like the patch but the first time that I had it it was making me nauseous and I was having some really bad headaches. Plus I had the patch last year before finding out that I was pregnant, and I wasn't given a pregnancy test when I went into my doctor's office for my appointment to get birth control in January 2014, so I hold the doctor's office and the birth control patch responsible for me losing my baby. I wont use it any more.
