Incomplete Miscarriage... week 7
So.. I went to the clinic on Monday and the doctor told me that I lost an extreme amount of blood to head over to the ER asap. That usually she would be calling the ambulance at this point. It was at a level 7.6 . She gave me a note to give to them stating that my hemoglobin levels were too low and they needed to give me a transfusion.
I figured I'd wait to go until early the next morning because I had to make sure everything was set at home in case they kept me the night.
I was suffering bad headaches, dizziness and very tired just walking short distances. My heart was racing quite fast and suffered fevers. Pretty much no energy.. dark rings around my eyes.
Mind you that I had already gone to the ER twice! The 2nd time they gave me the medication to flush out the uterus.. Which was unsuccessful.
So, yesterday morning I went to the ER for the 3rd time. Phew. I was feeling like the walking dead at this point. I have been bleeding for 7 WEEKS! Imagine! They did draw my blood again and did another ultrasound (outer & inner), lung x-ray then decided to do an emergency D&C. My blood level went from 7.6 to 7.1 over night!
This has been such a horrible experience. I have been unable to move past the loss of my baby due to this excessive bleeding.. Just lingering on.
I am very sore now but at least I have stopped bleeding as of today!!! Thank God. I can finally start to move on past this terrible time.
I thank everyone for your support. God bless.
