My son hates sleeping. Hes always hated napping but would for about 6 or 7 hours straight at night with no fuss. Hes now 7.5 months old and over the last few weeks hes begun waking more frequently. Im not sure why. I know hes not wet, hungry or too warm or too cold. My only questions are this. When you out your baby down for nap or bed how long do you let them cry before you go in their room? Going in and just rubbing his back etc doesnt help as soon as he hears, sees, or feels me he just cries harder. For naps he just fights against sleeping he cries even if I hold him. Hes never taken a pacifier and still wont. So how long do you let them cry before you pick them up and what do you do if they still won't stop crying? I live in an apartment building so just letting him cry for long periods of time really isn't an option, especially in the middle of the night.
