What shampoo/conditioner do you use?

Also, what would you recommend to use if my hair is falling out like crazy?

I like to use a variety of OGX. They are kind of expensive but I consider it a treat for myself. They do make a thickening formula for thin hair too.

i usually have problems with my hair being really really dry. the ethnic care aisle is my best friend. i use olive oil shampoo and conditioner and a argon oil leave in conditioner. during the winter months i have to do every other wash with t-gel for intense dry scalp. my sister has thinning hair and uses bed head volume shampoo it fluffs it up and makes it look fuller. her stylist just told her about Keranique which helps with loss and grow back. she has not yet tried it but told me the reviews and fda approval were enough for her to seek more into it.

Nioxtin I would recommend. First, use the lowest level which is a 1.(be careful the higher levels can be more powerful for some/1 is recommend) It's a three step process. It seems to work for my bf. It can be use for women or men. It won't make hair grow magically. Just helps make it fuller and cause less breakage. Which protects it from the breakage worsen and makes your hair stronger.

Suave. My guess would be you have a hormone or nutrient deficiency and the hair falling out is a symptom. Don't know what though.

I always used the cheap stuff (Suave at this time), but with two girls (and we all have long hair), we go through shampoo like crazy! I read about using Borax to wash my hair and decided to try it. It's fantastic! I mix a half a handful of Borax plus the same of baking soda, add warm water, and pour it on my wet hair. My hair is so clean! Since these are dry ingredients, they last a long time! For your condition, though, I suggest nutrition -- protein and B vitamins, especially B6. However, B vitamins need each other to work, so you need a B-complex vitamin, not just B6.

Coconut oil is great for hair. It helps with frizziness, loss, shine, and more! Look it up. It has over a 100 healthy uses. I also use it on my 7 yr old hair eczema n psoriasis!

I use herbal essence most of the time, but when my hair started falling out after having James, I tried using Ovation Cell therapy shampoo and conditioner and it helped.

I use Matrix sleek shampoo and conditioner. I have long, thick straight hair and it works well! It is a bit more expensive, though if you buy it on sale in the large containers it is a decent price. I've found that with the products sold at salons, you use a lot less of each time.

I'm using Herbal Essence brand. When my hair needs a little TLC I get out my essential oils from Young Living. After a shower (using shampoo and conditioner) I'll put about a teaspoon of olive oil or coconut oil in my hand, add 1-2 drops of Joy, Inner Child, Lavender, Peppermint or whatever smells wonderful to me at the time; gently mix with my finger and then apply to damp hair. Oh if you're sick and stuffed up using lavender and rosemary will help, both are ingredients in Vicks.

I had lots of hair falling out after giving birth up until recently where there's still hair coming out but not as much as before. I bought some things that this lady recommended at whole foods, one of them was for my hormones called Ashwagandha (by Himalaya) which is an anti-stress and energy booster, second product is a hair nutrients (by Solaray) and lastly Shen Min which is water based for any thinning spots. I must say that although I have always had thick hair, but I could see the difference after a month, my hair is thicker and looks healthier. Hope I was able to help you and some other mom's that went or going through hair loss after pregnancy...

Chonte I use the co-wash for my hair too, but didn't know that I can use it for my daughter's hair also! I will try to do that next time I wash her hair.
