Normal behavior?

Elise cries 24/7 in the car seat, stroller, in stores at home, she also slaps herself and bangs her head against floor or walls and is always unhappy or mad. Asking her pedi is a waste a time he always says to let her cry it out. Can a 19 month old be seen by a psychiatrist?

It's a phase, try to calm her and tell her be nice to yourself and others, demonstrate by stroking her cheek saying nice, don't hurt your self and give an ouchie. Try to redirect. Also when out and about if you have someone to help you shop and hold her instead of putting her in the shopping cart right away, it helps to keep them calm. I went through this a few months ago. I hope that helps a little.

Thanks for taking time to answer I barely get answers here. I really hope its a phase its very frustrating, we do carry when we are in stores is when we get tired that we put her in the stroller or cart but she still makes a drama show at the stores and everyone staring! I know she will be a drama queen lol We redirect every time but she gets more angry. Can't wait for her to sleep all night already too! :(

Try singing to redirect, every time i sing wheels on the bus or the alphabet my daughter immediately changes. Keep trying. I put my daughter to bed in the crib and when she wakes up at 5 i breastfeed her and let her sleep with me till morning 8:30-ish
