Crib question

I just went in to get my 3 1/2 month out of her crib and found her with her foot and lower leg caught in the crib slats! Her Dr. Said no bumpers but I can't have her little foot getting caught!
What do fellow moms do for their little ones?

Mine do that even with the bumpers. Just gently dislodge her. The most its done to mine is wake them up because they are stuck.

:) Comes with the territory. :) We were all there once. Two of mine have now gotten their legs stuck in a baby gate to the point of having to oil down their leg to get it out. Then having to stop until the swelling went down because we have been trying for so long it wasn't going anywhere.

I don't freak out anymore unless there's gushing blood. Then I wait to freak out until I figure out exactly how bad the problem is. 4 kids and only 1 trip to urgent care. Not too bad lol.

Yes, I am a first time mom and I worry about everything as well. I have let go a little of the worrying as he gets older, like bumping his head because he gets right back up and starts playing. It still breaks my heart but he is okay.

I have mesh bumpers. They are safe because of the breathable mesh. My son kept getting his legs, feet, and arms lodged in the slots of the crib. They have them at Walmart. They tie around the slots.
