Snaps, Pics.. Moments.

So ladies.. indulge me.. are you huge picture takers? Video takers? Moment capturers? Or do you wish you did more?

In the age of social media and SO much technology.. I see girls posting SO many pics of their little ones.. each month they grow.. what they like/don't like as they head off to school... It's cute, but is it too much?

I know my Mom didn't have these options at her fingertips.. but I often think that maybe she enjoyed the MOMENT more than just CAPTURING it.. does that make sense? I think young people are so concerned about capturing the right picture, sharing it with the world so often.. that they are not really enjoying being present.

I know I will want to snap a million pics of my baby.. But I feel I will be very different about sharing them just as much.. I think people don't value their OWN privacy anymore.. What do you all think?

Meg, we've seen the same - that's why we've made Moms Moments)).
It's never too much Moms Moments - just because it's for moms, not for all.

Now you know the place where your pics and moments are welcome!))

Yeah, I agree to a point. I don't share a lot of personal stuff and limit what I post of our children. Mostly for their/our protection (I'm highly paranoid about online predators).

Oh and as a side note. We do snap a lot of photos. I always have. My older kids have the advantage of having their childhood well documented by photos in photo albums (before I started working again), our younger children are well documented but everything is in digital format.

I think photos help cement the memory into my children's minds. They remember events, people and family vacations more from the ones that we have actual photos of.
