Essure

Has anyone had the essure implant put in or know someone who has? It is something I am considering but would like to get some feed back from women who have it.

Switched? It is permanent form of birth control.

I looked into it but decided to go with a tubal. The biggest drawback for me is that you have like a three month time after you have it done that you have to use back up birth control and my body doesn't handle birth control well. Plus my body rejected the IUD I had so I was a little nervous about having the cools put in. It seems like a great way to go though for most women. Way less recovery time and much less invasive then the tubal.

I;m not sure now I have read a lot of horror stories about the side effects. Erin Brockovich has a website about the horrors of it.

Yeah, it was just best for me to stick with the old fashioned method of the tubal!
