Why is it so hard to find Organic Lactose Free Whole milk?
The only organic I can find is just fat free.
that's true, I am not able to find one either
There's drops you can get at a pharmacy that you drop either in the gallon or in the cup to help start breaking down the proteins. I think it's Lact-ease, but Im not sure. Honestly, almond milk or raw cows milk would be better.
She's lactose intolerant.
Many lactose intolerant can drink raw cows milk without problems, including my own kids. If I hadn't tried it, I wouldn't recommend it.
Is it found in any supermarket?
No. you have to find a dairy farmer. An Amish or Mennonite community will be your best bet. Most states say it's unsafe, but I know many people who drink who have never gotten sick. To sell it in a market, they have to at least homogenize it. Most pastereurize too. The cooking it takes out some of the good stuff.
We use coconut milk or almond coconut milk.
