Those People

Since becoming pregnant with my second (hubby's third), I've been hearing:

"Wow, you are going to have your hands full."
"If I could, 'I' would not have ANY more kids."
"You know, me, personally, I could not handle any more little ones."
"You and Steven are going to be run ragged. You won't have time for anything."
"You're having ANOTHER one, really?!"
"You want HOW many?!"

And these are just some of the unwanted non-important opinions I am being tossed (mainly by one individual.

I....I am about ready to scream and let my pregnant self tell her what I think (because she did this when I was pregnant with Jonah).

Normally, I like to keep the peace and keep quite but sometimes, enough is enough and then you crack!

Pregnancy tends to bring out those who think they are experts or those who think you need to limit your family to a certain amount of people and yadda, yadda, yadda. I'm sure you've all had your share.

I will do my best to smile, but pregnancy brings forth a mouthy side of me. ;)

Oh see me...I'm mouthy and sarcastic ALL the time. I'm sure there were some opinions about my pregnancies but I was so mouthy with the first one that no one said a word about the second one! Lol I also never dealt with anyone rubbing my stomach with either pregnancy either...I just give off that "don't even think of messing with me" attitude.

    Hahaha!!

I am rather mouthy, sometimes, but my husband gets upset if I feel the need to tell one of his relatives off (they ALWAYS have opinions and their way is always right--it drives me nuts). I have to bite my tongue a lot because of him.

I told him: "Next time some comments about how much kids I want, I am going to respond, 'Well, I have all of these eggs and I can't see the point in wasting them all.'" Yep, they would've loved that. Lol

My husband doesn't like how mouthy I am most of the time either. I finally has it out with his Mom after a year of hearing her day not so nice things about me. Now me and her get along great. A woman can only take so much...especially a pregnant woman. Lol

My sister started getting that three babies ago. :) She's come up with some pretty good responses then saves them for when she's pregnant again, i've stolen a few.

"Are you having another baby??" Her: "Well, that's the guess, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if it's a baby or an alien."

"I don't know how you do it." Her: "Me either, want to babysit?"

"Are you pregnant?" Her: "What? No, I just ate too much last night." (This came when she was in the last trimester and it was quite obvious she was pregnant.)

Somebody to her husband at the farm store. "Hey man, you get her pregnant again, are you crazy?" Him: "She's pregnant?!?!?! What?!?!?! I gotta go kill somebody." Now that one had the little town talking for days before they realized it was a joke, but it was worth it I'm told lol.

Have fun with it lol. Sarcastic responses usually throws them off so you can make a clean getaway.. Just let hubby in on it so he knows and hopefully plays along.
