Really?

It amazes me how many people have issues with me breastfeeding Vivian, always wanting me to bring bottles everywhere we go so I don't have to feed her in public because it makes them uncomfortable even though I cover up.
Plus I have someone who thinks that I'm neglecting my child because all she gets is breastmilk, she had the same issue when I nursed my son. If my girl was neglected she would be over 13 lbs at two months old.
The way people still think about breastfeeding amazes me.

Yes, it always amazes me, too. I found a copy of the state's breastfeeding laws and put them on a business card..kept them in the diaper bag. If anybody gave me too much trouble, they just got a card.

So.....are they wanting you to starve your child? Plus, she is barely two months old and they are still on milk at that age. What is wrong with people?

Don't worry bout what others say, do what's best, keep on breastfeeding!
        I'm still breastfeeding.

I don't concern myself with their thoughts, I just think that it's sad that their is this idea about breast feeding that is so off. I told the last person who told me that my child needed formula that "you wouldn't take a goat and feed it cows milk because you think the goat can't survive on the milk its mom gives it, so why would you think I should so that with my human baby?" They didn't have anything else to say. Lol

Totally! Formula is crap, no offense to those who use it but you don't need it if you are breastfeeding.

Exactly. I plan to give her breastmilk as long as possible although once she gets teeth I won't nurse her anymore especially since she already bites.
