No. I want them to learn Spanish, but I don't remember much anymore.

Yes! I am! We bought a toy that teaches the alphabet in English and Spanish.

We lived in Costa Rica for a year and a half. My youngest was in kindergarten. Unlike the rest of us, she caught on to Spanish immediately and spoke it fluently. Her Spanish was so good that when she spoke English, people wondered how a Tica (a girl from Costa Rica) could speak such good English! She's forgotten a lot of it now (she's in seventh grade). I hope when she takes Spanish in high school that it'll come back.

We were trying to teach German a while ago, but it has slowed down a bit. My daughter does enjoy her Little Pim videos, though. If you have Amazon Prime, you can stream many of them for free.

Yes, I speak three languages myself. I am teaching Isabella Portuguese. I speak with her in Portuguese all day, but she also hears English throughout the day in books, on tv, on the radio, and when her dad gets home from work he speaks with her in Spanish. I know that it may seem too much to juggle, but my parents did it with my brother and I and we speak all three languages well. It'll take time like anything.

I was watching something and it was about a woman who taught her kids sign language before they could speak. I thought that was amazing.

Yes. We started when she was 18 months old. We started talking on English (since our mother tounge is Croatian) few hours per day, like it's natural talk. And she liked it a lot. So 2 months later, we also started doing the same on Finnish language and now my daughter talks fluently 3 languages, without any problem or confusion. But there is one flaw to it, whenever she is super turbo excited, she starts talking on Finnish :)
