Question about Car seats for 2nd baby

Did you buy a new one or did you use the car seat you had with the 1st baby?

Did you have the infant car seat with Benjamin? If you did, then I'd just use that. It should still be good-expiration dates are under in raised numbers, same color as the plastic or on the paper label.
Personally, we just get convertibles.. In the long run we save money and I put rolled up receiving blankets around their heads when they are still tiny.
As long as the seats are rated for the weight, you're fine. But from a financial standpoint, I wouldn't go buy a new infant seat unless we had a severe preemie.
If you wanted to be fancy, you can buy new car seat covers or make them.

With Eva, the car seat expired two or three months before she grew out of it, we used it until the expiry date then switched her to the convertible.

I plan to reuse it for the next baby. Just make sure it is not expired or damaged. Check out the car seats for the little for more help!

I think it depends on how close together the kids are, and gender. I personally will get a new one when I get pregnant again because we donated ours to a family that needed it.
