Peppa the pig bad for toddlers?

Elise sometimes watches this show and now a friend posted something on Facebook about the show causing bad behaviors?? Anyone lets their kids watch carton shows?

I don't know about that one. We have cut other cartoons because we've seen Andrew copying the bad behavior from them. But the Eva never has.

Yea, I hid Peppa the pig's Dvd's I will stick to her learning channel BabyfirstTv. Haven't really found anything good in T.V except BFT All the rest have such bad behaviors.

Our kids are hooked on the superheroes... So it's a fine line between what they can and can't watch.. and if they start beating each other up, they lose them for a few days-with full understanding of WHY.. Since they are getting old enough to understand, it helps.

That is my sons favorite...I have sat and watched all of them with him...it's actually a really cute, sweet show. I have never seen anything on it that would encourage bad behavior.

I think it definitely depends on the kid and the parents.

Well Peppa is one of those neutral cartoons where they don't even really have anything to do with attitudes or bad behaviors...now Olivia (another pig cartoon) I could see someone saying that about, they get pretty rude.

On a link I found there's a post about how peppa bullies her brother, calls her dad fat and jumps on mud puddles etc Some parents said their toddlers started behaving the same. The post said......

She stamps her feet, bullies her brother, makes fun of her parents, falls out with her friends, whinges when she loses, pokes out her tongue and generally displays copious amounts of antisocial behavior.

I have not heard of that one but, then again, we do not have cable or satellite. My kids watch DVDs of Doc McStuffins, Little Einsteins, Thomas the Train, and a few others that are appropriate.
