When I was pregnant I completely cut out caffeine, switched my Darjeeling for caffeine free Irish Breakfast (delicious, by the way!) and my red canister of Folgers for green.
Since the m/c though, I have definitely re-upped my intake. I know it's not the healthiest thing in the world, but I have read studies that indicate a cup of caffeinated coffee a day is just as effective at treating depression in women as I think it was Prozac.
Not sure if that's a slam on Prozac or a one-up for coffee though, lol!
My husband is totally in love with things like Monster and Red Bull, even though they seem to give him no energy. He will drink a Monster and fall asleep.
I'm a little more sensitive though, at least after having stopped.
I was wondering though... How many of you ladies rely on caffeine? How much do you use/drink a day? Ever tried to cut back?
