Toddler's appetite at 1/2-2 years

Your toddler is independent, she/he continues to blossom in language skills, questions of why, what and how are increasing, gross motor skills are soaring, pretend play and He/she enjoys playing with other children, but their appetite seems to have decreased. Why? Well the growth of a toddler slows down, and so does their appetite. Toddler's need just 1-2 tablespoons of each food group and 3 cups of milk a day. Don't worry if they become picky eaters, the rate of growth will pick up again around 3 years old they will gain about 4 pounds and grow about 2-3 inches. At your child's regular check up, the doctor will let you know if any concerns arise.
