Potty or real toilet?
sometimes she will poop in the regular toilet sometimes in the diaper. I wonder if putting a little potty will help or make it worst since she has already used the regular toilet?
When I was potty training my oldest we lived in a row home in philly where the only bathroom was upstairs. I kept a little potty in the corner of our living room until she fully potty trained to help cut down on accidents and to get her to use the potty more than her pull-up
We have a little ring that goes on the regular toilet that Tristen uses. I think his is ninja turtles. It doesn't sit up real high and he was too big for the normal potty chairs. Ours has a clip that it hangs on the side of the toilet on so that it is easy reach for him to get and put on the toilet when he needs it.
We have that little ring in the toilet too.
I started Eva just using the big potty-but since it was all the way upstairs she had problems getting there in time... So we bought a potty chair for downstairs in the living room (drove me crazy) and it did the trick. About six months with that as a back up, she started using the regular potty all the time and we could put up the potty chair.
Autumn had her own potty. It was custom made from her grandpa with her name on it. It was easy to use, and we could put it anywhere. When she got taller, we used the attachment for the big toilet.
Was it difficult to then transition to regular toilet?
