advice please

I need help on how to increase my milk supply. My 4 month old is teething and refusing to nurse. My milk supply is now dwindling because she won't eat. I have been trying to increase my supply but nothing seems to work. Please mommas who have breastfeed for extended periods please help me. I'm heartbroken.

Eat lots of carrots and oatmeal, take vitamins, warm shower... just keep latching her saliva will tell your body to keep lactating, also try frozen breast milk teether.

I've been eating oatmeal like crazy. With a toddler I don't get a shower but every other day. Worst part is she will not latch at all

Keep trying and pump if you can to save some, does your toddler nurse still? Also try to pump to get the nipple prep for easier latch. rub teething gel on sore area then try nursing.

My toddler only got to breastfeed for 2 weeks. So I was hoping to go as long as I could with my little one so I wouldn't feel useless or feel like a failure as I did with my 2 year old

Don't be so hard on yourself, just do what you can. Just keep trying! :)

Try easing the teething pain with teething tablets right before she eats.

They work great. I always start at one and give them one until it doesn't work.. Like any medicine, your body will build an immunity to it. They just dissolve in her mouth.

I had such a hard time keeping my milk supply up. I talked to my midwife and she recommended mothers milk. It usually comes in a tea or in drops (you can add to a drink of your choosing). I used the tea form and my milk supply hit me so hard, I had to pump in-between feedings because I was producing so much milk. So now I've used with all my kids to help keep my milk supply up. Good Luck!

I'm going to try mother's milk. Im hoping I can get my supply up again. I'm being forced to supplement and I absolutely hate seeing her on the bottle. The first day was so bad I couldn't be in the house. I went outside and got sick.

Try the mother tea they sale it in but buy baby also try the cookies that also they sale it on buy buy baby. Take warm showers massage your breast too. Eat oatmeal or if you can't take a shower put warm towel on your breast.
My baby never latch on but I pummp for two months to give him breast milk . I pummp every two hours and by the 6 week I had lots of milk to freeze it for two months . Good luck
