warning must see

    Such a horrible tragedy.
(I'm prepared for the backlash) yes it is a tragedy, however it could of been prevented. A friend of mine used to work at a resort in Disney World and he pointed out that there are signs almost everywhere regarding alligators and to steer clear. In my mind, seeing a no swimming sign at a lagoon would make me think "ok the water is not safe." Sure, the sign could of said "caution alligators", but does Disney really need to put warning signs everywhere? would you still go on a ride with a sign that said "caution, could get dizzy" (the teacups). Parents should use more common sense in regards to warning signs.
That was my first thought, too Karlea. My husband pointed out though (he grew up in Florida), that just like I grew up with knowing to be cautious of rattle snakes, he grew up with knowing to be cautious of alligators in water. Each of those are second nature to us in our home states, but would we be thinking about that being at a resort?
