Sleep Training

So my husband and I have begun sleep training(Crying it Out) with our 20 month old. This process is mentally painful, but necessary as we have tried everything else and nothing has worked. We were making progress, but she reverted back to her old habits of only wanting to sleep with us and not in her bed.
Day 1 - She cried for 45 minutes and was up for an hour in the middle of the night
Day 2 - She cried for 30 minutes and was up for two hours in the middle of the night
Day 3 - She cried for 20 minutes and got up around 1AM, I changed her diaper, gave her a cup of water and let her cry herself back to bed which took about 15 minutes
I'd like to say this is progress..............but ugh

I can't do that either. I will rock them in the chair in their room.
We sleep trained our girls when they were about 2 months old, every mom is different and does things their own way and in their own time. But i am so glad that i tackled that early on both my girls are age appropriate independent. And it was so nice to have them on a schedule to where i knew what they needed depending on what time it was. Be strong you can do it, i know its hard but it will be better for you and baby in the end. I am hoping for the best for you, and that your little miss will over come it quickly.
