just did bath time and my son loves the water, doesnt even get mad when the water hits his face. Is it to soon to take him swimming? this young what should i do? I cant afford the lessons and my dad just tossed me in lol...
I dont want to take him into the pool and dunk him if its gonna freak him out and not like water anymore and I didnt learn till I was nine ish....but I love being around water and want my son to be able to enjoy it with me
How old is your son? Why not take him swimming? I mean you do not have to dunk him in... just let him feel the water and how it feels to float when you hold him. Would be a good experience for both of you!
I see your son is over a year old? Definitely not too young! Some take them to "lessons" as young as 6 months, to get them used to and loving the water! Do your research about local places.. YMCAs.. etc.. it would be great for both!
Not too young! I started my daughter with lessons at 6 months old. The lessons were geared toward infants and toddlers and go at the pace of the child, designed to be fun and get them comfortable with the water. She loves them! We got to Goldfish Swim School its a chain you could check their website and see if there is one in your area or some other infant swim school
