No luck getting pregnant

Well I am pretty bummed this week because I started my period. :( I was really hoping that we would be pregnant by now but it is proving to be a very difficult thing to do. I guess I am going to have to step up on the additional help. Acupuncture, ovulation tests, temp tracking and I am thinking of getting the at home sperm test for my husband. We have not yet gotten tested and really hope to not have to go the route of hormone shots but after almost 2 years of trying this is just getting frustrating. Especially when I seem to be surrounded by people getting pregnant. I feel bad that I am envious but I just dont know what I am doing wrong...or rather what they are doing right. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!!!

If you have been trying for two years, you need to see a specialist. It shouldn't take that long for a young, healthy woman to get pregnant. However, it could be a very simple issue like timing of when you have sex. Even something that seems "serious" like low sperm count can often be addressed by timing and having sex only every other day. Start by reading the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility" and make an appointment with a specialist to get tested.

I am sorry you are struggling to conceive. Brandestruggled too. Perhaps she will share her story with you.

My husband of 8 years and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now. We had 2 cats, we are thinking about getting a dog and recently bought our first home. Now it's time to step up our efforts!
