How do I train my son to not wake up during the night? Alot of people I have asked have just told me to let him cry. he is 10 months old and is still waking up 1-2 times a night wanting a bottle. Any help would be wonderful!

I am struggling with the same issue. No advise here, only understanding. I am not strong enough to do the CIO method, I just keep telling myself he will not be doing this till he goes to college :)
I am not a believer in CIO because of the trauma that it causes. We, with all 3 of our kids at around a year, would go into their room, place our hands on their back and gently rock them until they fell asleep again. That led to one of us (usually my hubby because the kids would want me too badly if I went in the room) lying on the floor and working our way out gradually over a week or two. It didn't really take that long for them to put themselves back to sleep without crying, and now we have amazing sleepers. They rarely wake up now, and they are 4, 3 and almost 2. Good luck!

yes, he needs to learn to fall back asleep on his own. Its normal and ok to let him cry. a wailing cry is for concern tho, my dd (17mos) usually does to let me know she needs to be changed, ;) GL!
