Body odor in big kids
All kids will have some kind of body odor after vigorous play. However, if you have noticed a strong, unpleasant body odor even when your kids haven't been playing hard or running around, you have to talk to their doctor about.
Body odor is one of the earliest stages of puberty in older kids. Physical changes are coming, although they may still be months to years away. For most parents, this provides a window of opportunity to discuss puberty in more detail with your maturing child to help prepare your child for changes to come.
It can also be a sign of a medical condition such as parasites, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), or simply poor hygiene.
