Small things help

We got our son a Wubba nub! it is the most brilliant thing. It's a pacifier with a stuffed animal attached. He could hold on to it at 3 weeks. We can easily find it. It's been a life saver. I'm hoping when we have to wean him I can cut off the pacifier and he can still keep his friend for comfort.

I bought one of these for my first...sounded like a good idea. But my children abandoned their pacifiers at 3 months... yes all of them. i never got the peacefulness of a child with a zipped lip! LOL!

lol Magen. Thanks for the chuckle just after I think I'm going to seriously break down into a fit of tears after reading Lisa's shared article about a loss.

I can see how this would be useful to moms who use pacifiers. We never used them. Oh we tried with our first and out last (he was a barracuda) but they didn't really like them. We didn't either to be honest. I attribute that to my mom though!

I had my first child in April 2013, just before our one year anniversary. Riley has been an absolute joy and I love every minute of being mom. But I am the first among my friends to have a child, so there isn't always an easy place to go for advice.
