Pregnancy and motherhood in their teens

Well, as for me, the theme of motherhood when you're a teenager now very widespread. Modern teenagers are brought up on TV or on the web now (unfortunately). They are worth nothing now to visit an "adult" site on the Internet or turn on the "right" channel on TV.

When I was a teenager my mom talked to me about the early sex, I remember we went for a walk with our dog and mom told me about the period, about how and where babies come from, and about methods of contraception and begged me not to hurry with sex.

To be honest, I do not imagine what I would do if this happened to me? Of course I would tell my parents and asked for help, I think my parents would help me (but would have criticized me for the rest of my days.) As far as I know, there is a special "hot lines" where you can call for free and anonymous and ask for help and for advise.

Two of my sisters were teen moms. They had my parents support and from the rest of us too. I don't remember them being too criticized. It was in the early 90's and our high school seem to have a baby boom. All I ever heard was "they are so young", but it was more of a sad, wistful statement. Teens before them seemed to have received more criticism. Maybe because it was still "taboo" to be pregnant and still in high school.

Wow, Linda, you and your mom are pretty much have the same age difference between you as my youngest sister and I.
