Inverted Nipples: Becoming Comfortable with my Breasts

I know that it's a much more common problem than many women like to admit (1 in 10!). It's taken me a long time to become comfortable in my own skin with lovers, let alone publicly, and now I am very open, no-holding-back about it. Inverted nipples. Not just flat, or anything that stimulation can bring them up. I mean very much so. Many women are afraid to address it or discuss it openly with anyone but their doctors. I haven't met anyone else who's had to deal with breastfeeding when inverted, but I wouldn't mind talking with someone else, or offering encouragement and support to one another. "Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't breastfeed," my doctor would tell me at my checkups (pre-pregnancy). She helped inspire confidence and dedication to breastfeeding in me. I have openly discussed the issue enough with other moms, it is no longer an awkward subject to me, and one mom was even genuinely curious to see (we were in Wal-Mart, so that wasn't happening)! I noticed there wasn't any "expertise" pages on this, and thought I'd help one along. I am very open to any encouraging words, questions, advice, or general discussion. :)
