Happy New Years! 2013 in Review
I went back to college for the spring semester and met some awesome new friends, including my blue-haired roommate (I had pink hair!) who got pregnant shortly before me and had a healthy baby boy in November.
We moved from our apartments in April to a house a few towns away. We started trying for a baby in March and got engaged in May, planning to get legally married June 15th (we did, secretly). On June 3rd, we found out we were expecting! We will have a beautiful, equally special wedding in 2015 for our friends and family (and us, of course!) to enjoy.
3 months later we had our first dance at his boss's 50th birthday party. "Wagon Wheel" by Darius Rucker.
At 20 weeks we were told it's a boy, and threw a sex-reveal party. Most people thought he'd be a girl. Mylze Xavior Bunker, it is.
We took our first (and last, probably) vacation as a couple in November to Myrtle Beach, SC. It was fun, but over far too soon. We hurried back in time to be home on Thanksgiving.
On the way to Thanksgiving my mother announced that my father and her were splitting up.
December 2nd, heaven gained an angel when a friend of ours 3rd and final pair of lungs failed him at 22 years old. He has been reunited with his love who passed away a year and a half earlier of the same lung condition.
My brother called me one morning to tell me I'm going to be an aunty again, next August!
We had our last Christmas together as a family. It was nice. They seem so amicable, its hard to tell they are even splitting up.
Mylze dropped just before Christmas, I expect he will be here in January, rather than around my due date, Feb 5th.
Good and bad, it's been an exciting and eventful year in the Bunker home! I wish you all the best in the upcoming new year. :)
