a little spotting is worth getting checked- out

A little spotting is common early in pregnancy. And while it is worrisome, it usually isn't anything serious.
If the bleeding is heavy like a period or bright red, notify your doctor immediately. As long as you're not cramping at the same time, it's probably your uterus shedding "old blood". I had a little spotting with my newest baby and I was really worried because I was 37 and under a lot of stress. My doctor checked my cervix the next morning and everything was fine. ( ;

    Very good thoughts and I agree. Though my experience was so different. If I started spotting it was a signal of a miscarriage for me, other than with my first when I had a bit of pink after intercourse a few times.
