This is me
Hi everyone, just wanted to offer a bit more detail about myself. I have been married for 7 years to my husband (this is marriage number 2 for me) and I have five children (oldest two are from my first marriage). I have gone through just about everything you can think of with these kiddos. I have had my walk with infertility (hard to believe with all the kids I have) but its true. I had three miscarriages prior to becoming pregnant with my oldest and also suffered a late term miscarriage between my youngest daughter and oldest son. My pregnancies have been filled with their own challenges so i am more than sympathetic there. When it comes to my kids, they have thrown it all at me. Babies that REFUSE to nurse, babies with acid reflux, babies that were born allergic to dairy (that one was fun). I have gone through many terrible things with my children, sickness, permanent injuries, etc.
On the other coin, I have also suffered my fair share of personal issues with motherhood. Twice diagnosed with post-partum depression and once with post-partum psychosis.
I guess my point with the post is that I am a person who is far from judgmental to the pains of motherhood and am more than willing to offer an ear or shoulder to cry on to anyone. I don't pretend to know it all but am always willing to offer what advice I can. I am also excited to draw advice from others as I enter into a completely unknown stage of raising children, the pre-teen years. I am very excited to be a member of this community and look forward to talking with you all!!
