I think when babies are ready to teeth they will find something to gnaw on...don't you? But in the mean time oragel can help ease the pain

I had 4 babies and every baby is different. For instance my son is teething. He doesn't like cold teethers either.I use a washcloth that's ran under cold water.

my daughter didn't like teething rings either. I think they we're too big for her mouth and she didn't like the cold on her hands for very long. She gnawed on everything else though. The funny thing is she loves to hold and chew on old gift cards! I wash them first of course but they're easy to hold and she can't damage the plastic. They're also big enough that I don't worry about choking either. It's funny what sort of crazy things work out.

Robin... do those work well? I would guess they eventually make a mess? What if your baby is teething before they can eat solid food...is there a choking hazard? Just curious because I never tried this angle!

Magen,my son is special needs and has choking issues. He is 18YO now. I just watched him and once a piece "melted"(started to come off) I took it off and let him do more. He never swallowed.teething is the one milestone we hit on time
