Relieve nausea during period

Being nauseous before and during your period is pretty common. I know I sure get it which can make it difficult to look for pregnancy symptoms. Usually it is caused by hormonal fluctuations or pain.

If the nausea is due to hormones, usually it's possible to wait it out. Some birth control can help with the fluctuations, relieving the nausea. If you're trying to conceive or otherwise don't want to use birth control, you could try the ginger pops and stomach settling tea intended for motion sickness or morning sickness.

If it is due to pain, using a heating pad, moderate exercise, or an over-the-counter pain reliever may help with the symtpoms.

There are also a lot of vitamins and other natural solutions for period symptoms from cramps to nausea. I have heard good things about acupuncture. Another thing that can help is vitamin supplements- especially zinc. I think B-vitamins too but don't quote me on that one.
