How far apart are your children?

How far apart are your children? What do you like the most about their spacing?

I'm happy with the spacing of our children, who are 16, 14, 13, 11, 10, 7, 5 and 3. They all have had playmates and now friends close to their age.

I'm the oldest of four girls and we were 3, 4 and 14 years apart. I was going off to college when my sisters were just starting high school and starting Kindergarten. It always seemed like I was ages older than them in some ways, except two of them seemed older than me since they had children first. For the most part we were always at a different stage in life etc.

I am very happy with the spacing of my children. I had my oldest before I got married, and her biological father is not in the picture. My husband and I got married when she was almost three, and got pregnant with her sister right after her third birthday. She is a big help with her younger siblings. Makenzie was 3 months old when we got pregnant with Grahm. They are best of friends, even if Makenzie tries to be a mother hen. I do not regret that I am pregnant again, even though everyone thinks I'm nuts. I think Grahm and Connor will be best friends. They will be about 15 months apart.

It's nice when the older ones are old enough to help. We have some who have been mother hens too. :)

That is a nice age difference. We have a couple that are nearly that or more in age difference.
