Getting pregnant after an early miscarriage

Getting pregnant after an early miscarriage, as newer research suggests, is not only safe but can also be easier. It's basically like the concept of your body already being in 'pregnancy mode' so your hormones are often more conducive to conception.

I know that even though it took my husband and me years to conceive our first, after I lost him/her we immediately conceived again the next cycle. I also miscarried that time, but did not get pregnant the next cycle.

Anyway, the biggest concern here is not physical readiness, but emotional. It's best to take the time necessary to heal before trying again. But if you're ready, your chances are good.

We had our miscarriage in August then didn't use any conception and got pregnant again in November with a succesful pregnancy. I do agree there has to be a healing period, having a miscarriage is difficult. Praying for you and your husband.

I've had two miscarriages, both times were around 5 - 6 weeks. The week After the miscarriage I conceived and have had two healthy pregnancies. It was rough, but I knew that it may have been for the best. I wish you and your husband all the best!
