So Mamas.. I always see/hear how glowing and HAPPY you are right away post birth and having your baby with you.. is it true? Are you on a newborn high of sorts? Sometimes I think I get sleepy now.. there is no way I will survive once the baby is here haha! Ah!

Eh.. not always true. Some women go into a postpartum depression. Here are 10 celebs who had postpartum depression.

I felt happy but also my daughter was in the hospital needing heart operation so of course I was depressed also. But, I think most cases you feel the new baby happy feeling of course! :)

When I had my baby (via c-section so I don't know if it's the same for vaginal) I couldn't sleep, I just wanted to look at her and wake her up if she slept. I wouldn't even let them take her to nursery unless it was to bathe or run tests. I didn't even feel pain in my incision until the next day ( it was probably the drugs) but my mom said I was acting like Superwoman trying to do too much so soon . Twelve weeks later, I think I'm still on that high.

I honestly was back to my old self maybe an hour afterbirth. Yes I have experienced the no sleep thing (a lot!!!) but it does not really effect me too much. Except in the beginning my mother inlaw was convinced I was depressed because I was always sooo tired and looked soo tired. Phewy on her because I felt fine and still love waking up with him at night. It's not that I don't trust my husband to wake up with my son but I know what he wants and what calms him so I wake up!

Yes, I definitely had the newborn high. Our whole family gets it now. ;) After my first two when I learned to sleep with baby and when baby slept, I didn't find myself that sleep deprived because I could roll over and go back to sleep.
