What are we doing to protect our children?

I just read a really disturbing article and it's making me totally re-think internet usage in our home (though it's already limited), wondering how we can have parental controls that actually work and don't block good sites...etc.

What are you doing to protect your children?

About the sex education in schools...it was the reason number 1,2, and 3 why I changed my son's school, and I am very happy I did. Why does my son should know about sex, porno and all of this stuff in a different view? Our family support intimacy between husband and wife, and we answered his questions about male/female relationships according to his age. I am not trying to answer his questions about where do babies come from like we found you in a cabbage, but like mommy and daddy love each other, you lived in my belly for 9 months, etc. I mean it's enough information for his age. I know he can find lot of info everywhere now, but I am trying to be open to my son's questions in order to protect him.

Sounds like our rules. I just get so paranoid the older the boys get.
