This made me laugh. I swore that I would never leave the house with no make-up on and sweats on. I do both. I tell my hubby all the time, sorry I look like crap, but im not going to get dressed up to go to the grocery store.

I said I wasn't going to use being a parent as an excuse to not stay in shape and be healthy but yet it's so hard to exercise with a 2 year old sitting on your stomach or back or butt!! She even finds comfort in sitting on my throat! yea my child is a mess lol I said that I wasn't going to let people tell me what to do with my child or ask for help. (First time mommy) but things like her first cold, bottle to sippy cup, crib to toddler bed I had to ask for help and advice on.
I also said that my house wasn't going to get messy and not be cleaned but it's impossible with a little tornado running behind me lol

Thank you so much for sharing. That really made my day. There are a lot of things that I would "NEVER" do with my children. Ha. I have learned never say never.

Before I became a parent I definitely said I would never use a leash, let my kids watch tv, play with an iPhone or an iPod, fly with a baby, post pictures of my baby on Facebook, let my kids eat unhealthy, Be so concerned with a schedule, or leave the house in sweats. Wow I was so naive lol. Now I pretty much do all of these except put my kid on a leash but that's only because she's 8 months old and can't walk yet. I'm sure I'll do that as well somewhere in the near future lol.

I swore having kids would change my marriage...boy has it ever. Its not that my hubby and I would not love to go out to a romantic dinner, see a movie and then go home and wrap ourselves in each other's arms doing all kinds of fun stuff....its just that we like throwing on our pajamas and going to bed early in the hopes of achieving 6 hours of sleep more! :)
