I co-sleep. Occasionally will bed share.

When I was pregnant I was solidly against co-sleeping and bed sharing. Now? Not as easy to say no. Since I breastfeed my daughter co-sleeping came a lot more naturally to me than I would have thought. Every little move/sound she would make I would be up checking on her. She started out in a bassinet at the foot of our bed, but I was just so exhausted getting up and down to get her that I would fall asleep with her in my arms sitting up. Eventually I just started laying her down with me to prevent me dropping her on our floor! Now that she's four months old she will sleep five-six hour stretches by herself in her crib at night. When she wakes up I'll change her and bring her in with me to feed her. We wake up at 6:00 am so it really isn't more than an hour or so now. If she wakes up earlier than her five-six hours she ends up in a pack-n-play at the foot of our bed. Unless I need some extra snuggles or she's extra fussy (darn teeth)!

First time mom to my beautiful little Ellsie. It took four years to conceive our little miracle and she continues to surprise and amaze us every day. Love to chat with new people, take photos, read, walk, dance, and sing. :)
