What a day. I am just gonna compain a little bit here..

Woke up to my daughter laying in a crib full of vomit this morning for starters. My friend came over yesterday and forgot to mention that her daughter was just sick the day before with a stomach bug and was throwing up everywhere. She is telling me this while my daughter is chewing on her daughters toy -_- Sooo Pretty sure I know how she got sick! She has been my little snuggle bug all day long. Am just now getting her to actually want to eat something and it is almost her bed time. Been offering her crackers, water and petialite all day. Been puking it up all day. So far this past 30 minutes she has had 4 crackers and is drinking her pedialite so fingers crossed she keeps it all down. Threw my neck out sneezing today as well so picking up my little princess and carrying her around everywhere is quite a task. Plus on top of it all I freaked myself out and thought my water broke this morning. To elaborate on that part... I was going to the bathroom and felt like I stopped peeing and then was peeing uncontrollably for a second. I was sitting forward so I think all of the pressure from my baby pressing on my bladder made that happen. As soon as I stood up it stopped and haven't had any leaking or anything but boy did I freak myself out. Yes this is my second child so I SHOULD know what its like for my water to break on its own but I was induced with our daughter and it was broke in the hospital. Ok I am done complaining about my day now. Just kinda needed to vent, sorry ladies! I can't wait till bedtime!

No problem. We've actually asked about an edit button but so far we have to deal with our typos, even though most of us cringe when we discover them! lol!

Sorry to hear about your rough day. That's kind of disappointing your friend did not show more consideration to you and your daughter.

At least you are 38 weeks so your water breaking, while not ideal considering your daughter is sick, would have been ok and within the normal range of giving birth. Glad you are ok though.

Yes, usually when your water breaks it at least continues to trickle upon standing up, but I'd still mention it to your doctor at your next visit, just in case. He/She should be able to examine you and tell if you are having any fluid leakage. Pain doesn't necessarily have to accompany water breaking.

Oh yes, I was already planning on telling my doctor. There was no trickle, my belly is just so big that I think it added pressure when I leaned forward and that's when all that happened. It felt like I was peeing and I couldn't stop it (only lasted a few seconds). But when you pee you can at least control it for the most part so that's
    why I got worried.

Sometimes that's happened to me when my bladder has been VERY full. I am sure everything is fine and that was the case with you. I just always ere on the side of caution.

vent away! It sounds like you had a rough day. Do something tonight for yourself, take a bath, read a book, etc. I hope tomorrow is better for you!
