Most DREADED Chores = LAUNDRY DAY!!! LET"S HEAR IT LADIES!!!!

Let's here it moms! Give me the vents... Take a minute and no judgement.. whine and bitch and moan and complain about the one chore you hate the most...

Here's mine...

Seriously? ... Seriously... How does this happen? Every week.. I do about 7 loads of laundry and every week I VOW to stay on top of it better and do a load every couple of days.. and then it happens.. My daughter sleeps pantyless because we are out of panties.. and so, I wash a pair and dry them over night on the chair so she has some for school the next day... but when you hang dry panties.. they dry all stiff and crisp and I hand them to her like a pancake!!

So. I rally.. and get $20 in quarters at the bank and dig in... And then.. fine.. done.. But THEN.. there is a monster pile to be folded and put away.. which I can't lie.. can tae DAYS I tell you... DAYS.. and my kids go to school in wrinkly clothes and pick their outfits off the big easy chair in the living room..

I don't wish to be rich.. I mean.. I do.. I would love to have enough money to not stress about a much needed trip to Target OR for God's Sake a well deserved $4 dollar latte... BUT.. If were rich... I would pay someone to only do my laundry... I can do everything else.. I would rather clean the toilets after a violent flu than laundry...

Gotta go.. Round 3 is on!!!!

And yes.. I have had my fair share of crappy homemade coffee.. bring it...

Lets' hear it ladies!!!!!

I HATE LAUNDRY TOO. I cannot get up and down the stairs. I live in an apartment, on the second floor, and the laundry is in the basement. My husband is no help either, so our laundry gets done every other week, costing us A LOT of money. I am totally with you on paying someone to come in and only deal with the laundry. Once it is folded and put away, my little monsters drag it all out of drawers and it ends up everywhere. I cannot tell you the number of CLEAN CLOTHES I have had to rewash because of them. I totally feel your pain.

Honestly when I am doing laundry, it's done every day so we can stay on top of it. That doesn't mean it's folded and put away every day on time though as doing that requires the cooperation of nine other people! But it is washed and dried and the laundry room is clean. However, when others are doing the laundry, it gets back up and the laundry room is a mess, laundry isn't washed, dried or put away. I hate it. I am a recovering neat-nick and struggle on a daily basis to restrain my neat-nick-ness because after all my children are children, not adults.

Thankfully we have a well and lots of water (so far, knock on wood as my mother would say). I wish we could get the laundry out on the line more often to cut our ComEd bill down, but again.....unless I do it, I am relying on eight little people who could care less about the bills.

Oh Man Theresa.. I will stop complaining.. LOL.. I forget you have a fleet of kids and that means a fleet of clothes and then you said the words "water in the well and clothes line".. and I just froze.. I would just cry.. Man, you're not kidding that you live in a farm.. You have to post pictures of your farm.. please? I want to see the well...
I'm an apartment raised and still living in one girl.. I've been camping ONCE and hated it.. HATED... I'm not spoiled or anything.. well, now actually I feel spoiled with my laundry and no line hanging... lol.. But.. I gotta hand it to you... you gotta write a book about all your kids and the well and the farm and the eggs...
I imagine your church to be this sweet little red church.. Oh how I wish... :)

Ohhhh I hate laundry! And it's only going to GROW! I am like you.. some weeks I feel like an angel.. I have it all done, on top of it all.. then the next, boom - so behind! No excuse here though.. we have ours in the basement and I just hate it! haha But.. another thing I hate is cleaning the floorsssss.. know why? WE HAVE A BULLDOG! One drink of water and one walk across our hardwood to the door... goodbye clean floors... sigh. I love having our floors clean, but Miss Stella makes it SO hard to keep up with it! In fact.. after they are spotless I take such pride in wiping up the TINIEST spot.. it's insane.. then she slobbers water or lays down and it's over... sigh.

We love paper plates! And dishes is another huge chore around here and one the children seem to despise more than the laundry!
