Haha, we have all felt that. I felt like walking right before my son was born, the movement helped ease my pain quickly!

All of mine were natural with these exceptions:

#1 (induced with pitocin, had some narcotic drug for pain and two botched epidurals - made a hater of pain meds! Because though my husband says I asked for it all, I DO NOT remember doing so and that scares me.)
#2 (induced with pitocin but nothing else administered.)
#5 (my membranes were striped to see if it would start labor so I could avoid being induced, it worked. He was a week and a half late and she was going to induce me if I didn't go into labor.)

First five were in the hospital. Last three were at home. LOVED my home births over the hospital, though most of my hospital births went well. I just prefer not to fight hospital staff to see my baby, to sleep with my baby etc. At home I got to do what I wanted and what I felt best for us and our family.

Good way of putting it! one thing about my home water births that was weird that I love the most is that right after he came out I got to hold him first, I got to smell and touch him before being whisked away like at the hospital. Every mom that doesn't have a complicated pregnancy should definatly look into home birthing.

Thank you, yes that is a great idea! and even if cost was the only factor it cost about 16,000 tohave a baby in the hospital and and the average midwife only charges 3-4000 dollars!
