infant pink eye

Conjunctivitis, commonly known as pinkeye, is an inflammation of the conjunctiva, the clear membrane that covers the white part of the eye. It may make eyes really red, sometimes it go away on their own, but usually required treatment. If it goes untreated in newborn/infants, they can get more serious health complications

.An infant can get pink eyes if he/she touch a person who already got an infection. In the summertime, pinkeye can spread when kids swim in contaminated water or share contaminated towels.

Usually doctors prescribe antibacterial eye drops. or you can use a home remedy:put 2 teabags of chamomile (moist) over the affected eye for 10 minute.

Do you know any more treatments/ home remedies for pink eyes?
