Fitness & Diet Tips
Does anyone have any specific tips that they would recommend? I'm trying to lose 3-5 lbs a month till I hit my goal weight. Obviously these delicious Oreos I'm munching on right now aren't helping ;)
well start slow, take a walk, jog or run daily ( can bring baby too for added weight) or get a video to do daily. before I got pregnant I did P90X daily and it worked great.
First meal of the day is the most important! It fuels your body at the start of the day. Several small meals/snacks throughout the day rather than 3 large meals with snacks between. Don't discourage yourself by stressing to count calories, etc. Instead simply be mindful of what you're eating and watch how much you eat. It's harder to stick to something if you tell yourself "I can't have this, I can't have that". Rather, you should just be aware that it's not good to eat junk food all the time, but that doesn't mean you can't EVER have it! Small rewards! Save that piece of cake or oreos and milk as a friday night indulgence.

Just got a Zumba DVD for X Box!
ahhh, that's what I need!!! Zumba sounds/looks like so much fun! =)
My sister picked it up for me yesterday... I have to actually get it from here (bought it used... only way to go) ... so have not started yet but looking forward to getting it in my hands! LOL!

Don't feel bad!! I just opened my "mommy & me" yoga dvd that a friend gave me at my baby shower back in July. Notice how I said "opened" not tried....lol
Came home today from my daughters dance class to find my son doing Zumba! LOL! (he is 7)
Haha! I might need to borrow him to teach me some moves! I had my husband pick me up a zumba fitness video and I got lost in the first 5 minutes! And that includes going super slow with pause and rewind...
