InfantSEE Exams!

Since Mandi kindly reminded us about today being... "Child Health Day" I wanted to share one tid bit I am aware of and I am never certain if others know about... InfantSEE exams! AKA.. eye exams for FREE for babies under the age of 12 months! I used to work for Optometrists and they were a practice that was aligned with taking on babies for InfantSEE exams. It is a great way to get in the groove about how important eye health care is.. and especially to stay on top of any eye issues that might later come to light once your little one grows. It is not an invasive exam.. just something to get a baseline of any issues or problems they can forecast.

Have any of you done an InfantSEE exam before w/ your little one?

No, we don't take our children to the eye doctor until five years of age unless something comes up like a lazy eye did with our second daughter. I didn't know they offered free eye exams for infants, good to know.

I have never heard of this one. With Jasmine, she seen the doc when she was 5 because she partially failed her kindergarten eye exam.
