Scary, but Real

This happened in the town I live in and grew up in. I know the family of the victim, and it is very real and can happen anywhere. I think it's important that parents educate and do what they can for their children to prevent this happening close to home. :( I don't know what on earth I would do if it were my son when he gets older.

The poor boy transferred to a private school, and a lot of students have been pulled out by their parents until action is taken to pull the offender from the school. Court hearing isn't until February to try to do something. The school can't do a thing legally yet because it wasn't a school-related incident. I guess because it's so personal I've been trying to read and hear as much as possible about the case.
