Support during Labor!

So Mamas.. I would love to know what you found MOST supportive, in your own individual scenario from your "support person" during labor and delivery.. I am so blessed that I feel the most comfortable around my husband.. can totally be myself and he is my biggest fan..

Is there something your hubby, boyfriend or partner did that really helped you? That you are forever grateful for? Can be anything, big or small!

My husband would get me cold wash cloths for my forehead and back of the neck. By the last pregnancy he was switching them out without being told! ;) Quiet. I needed quiet and my husband knew not to talk much other than to ask necessary questions.

My husband was definitely my biggest support next to my parents. We spent 2 nights (1 for induction, and 1 for labor) and the whole time he actually put his phone away and spent real time with me. He's a recruiter so his phone is glued to him 24 hours a day, making those 2 days a real blessing for us. He even went the whole time without eating in front of me! And every time my doctor came in my husband would ask me 20 different questions. I didn't think about it at the time but I really do not like needles and every time the doc came in I got a new needle...my husband was trying to distract me! I really don't think I could have done it without him. He held my hand the entire time, up until 45 seconds before my son was born when he decided it was okay to post on facebook that David was coming now...lol, the funny thing is that he posted that and literally 5 minutes later there were pictures of my little on facebook. I always give him crap for that!
